Musirion now supports more instruments
Musirion was previously focused primarily on piano. The service can now also convert recordings of other instruments into MIDI and sheet music.
Supported instruments include:
- guitar;
- bass guitar;
- violin;
- viola;
- cello;
- flute;
- clarinet;
- alto saxophone;
- tenor saxophone;
- trumpet;
- voice.
When uploading audio, select the main instrument in the recording. Musirion will take the instrument into account during recognition, score preparation, and playback.
The finished transcription can be opened and played directly in the browser, then downloaded as MIDI, MusicXML, or PDF.
Important: the recording must contain only one solo instrument — without vocals, accompaniment, or other instruments. Musirion does not yet separate instruments in a finished song or ensemble recording. If you upload one, notes from different instruments may be mixed together and the result may be inaccurate.
Support for the new instruments is already available in Musirion.
